Mobile learning: from models to experiences
Abstract
This work is an updated appreciation of contemporary global reality about mobile phones as well as the factors that determined phones evolution from a simple gadget that only allowed making phone call until now that, their number exceeds human population and smart phones leave the factory with hundreds of applications. In addition, it is an approach for mobile learning, based on a review of several conceptual approaches and sustaining a point of view of the author. It presents a brief state of the art analyzing of three types of its models: the mobile ecosystem, the context for rational analysis of mobile education and a pedagogical model from mobile learning. It´s relevant to emphasize that in this case, as in any other way of learning, it´s not possible to think that machines meet all; and mobile learning do not depend by technology but the cognitive relationship by the user with the learning processes content in the offered method. This paper reviewed a preliminary approach to a theme that has several edges and notable progress and that given its importance motivates the realization of global annual events, such as the celebrated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
