La realidad aumentada como innovación de soportes publicitarios en la captación de estudiantes de educación superior

Resumen

Objetivos: Desarrollar aplicaciones de realidad aumentada en web y en móvil, y determinar el grado de innovación que representa al incorporar videos, imágenes animadas 3D, entre otros elementos respecto a los medios publicitarios impresos tradicionales. Métodos: La investigación fue de nivel descriptivo, con diseño transversal. La muestra estuvo formada por 105 estudiantes. La recolección de datos fue mediante un cuestionario estructurado a 105 jóvenes que asistieron a las charlas informativas organizadas por el Instituto Continental, lo que permitió recoger la percepción respecto a la tecnología mostrada. Resultados: Se obtuvo que el 77,14% de los encuestados consideran que tanto la publicidad con tecnología de realidad aumentada web y móvil les llamó la atención; en la aplicación web el logo 3D fue lo más llamativo 45,71%; en la aplicación móvil el 74,29% valora la posibilidad de mostrar diversos elementos como imagen, video y el acceso directo a la página web. Otro resultado relevante es que el 71,87% manifiesta que a partir de la experiencia ha decidido estudiar en el Instituto Continental. Conclusiones: La aplicación del sistema de realidad aumentada ha representado una innovación de la forma de mostrar una publicidad en medios diferentes a los tradicionales (impresos y limitados a imagen y texto). El logo animado en 3D significó el componente más valorado en comparación con el video. La aplicación de la tecnología celular se ha visto superada por la aplicación web, creemos por cuestión de accesibilidad de estos dispositivos en la muestra estudiada.
