Environmental and biotic factors that influence population growth of Orestias Elegans in Yaropuquio, Chachachimpa and Añas Puquio-Junín
Abstract
Information on environmental and biotic factors that influence population growth in Orestias elegans Yaropuquio, Chacachimpa and Añas Puquio-Junin is presented, in which, knowledge about these factors, and knowledge of the gender in question are limited. Information related to Yaropuquio, Chachachimpa y Añas Puquio- through literature review and a field trip was also conducted under a monitoring protocol [1] in 3 random points were used, this research tool was used to better identify environmental factors and biotic affecting the growth orestia spp. In the monitoring points it will only be found in the Loma de Chacachimpa one Orestias elegans, due to the presence of introduced species, which compete with native species for food, habitats and/or are preyed upon by foreign species; such is the case of the “rainbow trout” (Oncorhynchus mykiss) distributed in almost all rivers and highland lakes in the country [2]. Another environmental factor is anthropogenic activity (livestock, agriculture, wastewater and solid waste) significantly influences the population growth of the species negatively, was observed in the course of Yaropuquio, Chachachimpa y Añas Puquio.
