Abstract

The solid wastes are a social and environmental problem and its classification is a very practical method for collection, handling and processing, it is essential to have proper management and mend the problem. The biological waste type is a special case because they can affect in various ways the health of those who manipulate the material, which results in higher spending to ensure safety and staff welfare. This project proposes a solution that directly attacks the problem of direct contact and poor handling of such waste that limit its treatment and became a risk to the user, also it gives an option to eradicate the high costs they generate.

Therefore, a “teleoperated system applied to hospital waste handling with biohazard” is presented; This may make the work of handling in real-time and accuracy during the process, this project is based on the technology of teleoperated control and relies on a robotic arm for direct contact, which will possess sensors to collect data to be transferred to a computer to process and short and thereby achieve process optimization. The project aims to enable the operator to carry out their work safely and effectively.
