About the Scientific and Editorial Committees

Functions of the Scientific Committee:                  

Cooperate with the Editorial Committee and the Director-Editor in the formulation of the editorial policy.

Advise the Editorial Committee and the Director-Editor in the formulation of the ethical and scientific quality criteria of the journal.

Invite other members of the national and international academic community to publish their work.

Cooperate with the dissemination of the Journal .

Evaluate the manuscripts received for possible publication or suggest other experts as peer reviewers.

Functions of the editorial board:

Jointly establish the editorial policy with the Director-Editor.

Propose to the Editor, in cases where he requests it, the readers or evaluators for the articles nominated in the Journal .

Serve as support to the editorial coordination of the Journal .

Promote the dissemination of the Journal .

Participate as an evaluator of works received for publication or suggest other experts as academic peers.

Duties of the scientific editorial team

Publication decisions: The Editor of the Journal  Ius et tribunalis (refereeed by academic peers) and the Scientific/Editorial Committee are responsible for deciding which articles are submitted to the journal. they must be published. The approval of the work in question and its importance for researchers and readers are part of these decisions. The Editor is guided by the policies of the Editorial Board of the Journal , adhering to current legal aspects regarding defamation, violation of copyright and plagiarism. The Editor may rely on the support of other editors or reviewers to make this decision.

Fair play: The editorial team of Ius et tribunalis will evaluate only the intellectual content of the manuscripts without distinction of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality or political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality: The Editor and the editorial team of Ius et tribunalis They should not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the authors, reviewers, potential reviewers, other appropriate editorial advisors, and the editor, if appropriate.

Disclosure of conflicts of interest: Unpublished materials disclosed in a manuscript submitted for publication in The Journal They should not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and will not be used for personal gain. Notes: The editor must respond when complaints are presented in relation to a published article. When the author is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal, he or she will be disqualified from the reviews and decisions that must be made about the work.
