Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Employability

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) and technological advances are significantly transforming teaching and learning processes and the labor market. Their impact is manifested in the demand for new skills, where continuing education is transcendental for the workforce to stay updated. Educational groups such as Lottus Education (UTC, ULA, UANE and UTEG) are developing programs to provide students with AI knowledge to strengthen their employability competencies. It is valuable for companies to have employees with this knowledge and skills as repetitive tasks are being replaced and existing roles in companies and organizations are being transformed. The most significant impact is the creation of new jobs where professionals are needed to develop, maintain and improve AI systems, as well as to interpret and use the data generated by this technology. In this sense, the questions that trigger the present research are: What are the challenges of adopting artificial intelligence in education?, How is artificial intelligence impacting the processes, productivity and talent of companies?. About the method, is descriptive. The population is 43 companies located in different regions of Mexico. The technique used to collect the information was the survey. The analysis of the instrument was with questions with closed answer options to be analyzed by means of descriptive statistics.
