Data-Related Professional Profiles: Insights from LinkedIn Job Listings in Colombia
Abstract
This research analyzes the knowledge and skills required for the main roles related to data analysis in Colombia, based on a study of job offers posted on the LinkedIn social network. The analysis characterizes the labor market demands associated with profiles such as data scientist, data analyst, business intelligence analyst, data engineer, and data architect, through content analysis applied to a corpus of 307 job offers published between August and October 2024. The results show a high demand for professionals with solid technical skills in data management, processing, and analysis, as well as the growing importance of communication and collaborative work skills as key elements for organizational performance.
