Professional ethics in education: The basis for sustainable development
Abstract
In a globalized society where the perception of what is good and bad, fair and unfair, responsible and irresponsible are highly distorted over time and there is no clarity regarding what it means to be ethically correct and what it is to be ethically bad, it is necessary to carry out a exhaustive reflection that motivates your study. Ethics is essential for the development of education professionals and the basis for sustainable development. Professional ethics has as its purpose the common good by contributing through awareness of the importance of collective benefit and understanding that this is above personal interest. Professional ethics, universal values and sustainable development are a vital part of building fair, equitable and inclusive communities in favor of the well-being of humanity.
